We’ve got a couple of 1.6 million plus raids shown below but they are nothing compared to this one that Chief Pat shared : over 3 million resources in a single raid. Wow !

Beaker has a vid taking TH11s with TH9 style war attacks. The first attack on this one is superb.

Galadon has just posted a sneak peek video of the next update. It looks like there are significant changes on the way at several TH levels, including nerfs to TH7 dragon attacks and golems at TH11. This could mean a change to some of the attack strategies we use.

It’s nice to see something new; to shadow the high level queen walk strategy here is the TH8 version, the PEKKA walk. It’s well worth considering in war attacks but requires practise and expert pathing skills.

Beaker has just posted a video with some very creative TH9 war raids, from a clan that has just had seven perfect, yes, perfect, wars in a row… hogs, valks, healers etc. all working in perfect harmony. Awesome stuff.

Supercell released information on their forums today, and also Galadon has a brief video, about the next update. The focus seems to be about restoring more loot balance to the game. I’m not completely sure it’s required since I find awesome amounts of loot almost all the time with both the TH10 and TH11 accounts I’m playing, but obviously Supercell have data no-one else does to suggest they thing there is a problem that needs fixing. Anyway check out the first details…

We’ve not had good war results for the last couple of weeks but I hope this weeks war was a turn around. Personally I was pleased to get 5 stars off their #2 and #3 in this war, and most of the rest of the clan played a blinder. But this had to be the closest war yet ending at 35-35 but we took the win for the damage. How close was this ? The clan XP also moved us to a level 6 clan which is great news !

Just in case you don’t about the YouTube channel Beaker’s Lab I thought I’d bring it to your attention. Some of the replays he shows are absolutely amazing with so many 3 star wins at different Town Hall levels. Here’s one for our Town Hall 11 team, but check out some of the others.

James just found a base with an absolutely huge amount of loot available, and he managed to grab most of it. With the 95,700 gold / elixir win bonus he came home with 1,660,000 resources !

A week or so after the update and I think we’re all adjusting to the new game. There has been some massive shuffling of leagues with a lot of top players dropping down to farm again, and all those farmers having their loot exposed. The new attack matching algorithm also means you are more likely to face your equal TH level. So what has this meant ? Well much more loot but much tougher battles to get it essentially. I think this is what Supercell when they said they wanted attacking skill and solid defence to be the point of the game.

Due to the league shuffling I tend to gain a few trophies overnight, but can you imagine waking up to this…

As for TH11, there has been a fairly muted response to the TURKEY OF DOOM, with the general perception that it is massively underpowered. And of course a new TH brings new attack strategies with GoWiWi seemingly the attack of choice. Lost Phoenix have managed to climb to world number 9 clan with 9 legend league players using the new witches. Check out some of their 3 star attacks on TH11s courtesy of spencer23$ :
