Those clash times when you are down

For those of us who having been playing clash for a long time will know you hit those patches when nothing goes right, you can’t get the loot, you lose every battle, and you think of quitting. Most of us TH9+ people must have been there. For some players the loot required at TH8+, or more likely their lack of attacking skill must make the game seem impossible, so I understand why they give in; the commitment is too much. It’s not the game for you unfortunately, just move on.

Sometimes it’s worth just taking a break for a week or two, or longer in the case of some of our clan members who have re-joined

But sometimes it’s just about your mojo; I had one of those days today, I lost six in a row which is unheard of ! I rarely lose ! [caveat: AQ upgrading, using super cheap farming armies in Masters 1…] But I kept with it and pulled it back together. What you need to remember is that although Clash seems simple, there are some many layers of complexity and timing choices, and a bit of randomness, that make it a tough game to play well, and that’s why it is a worthy and rewarding challenge. When I nail those big war wins on the enemies top bases it’s a buzz, and that’s why I keep on playing.

Here’s Galadon from Lost Phoenix going through one of those patches, and I think it was really worthwhile that he gave his perspective as someone so prominent in the Clash community.
