For those of you who use dragon attacks I’d like to discuss troop deployment. There are two ways of doing this; the spread i.e. the dragons spread out in a line; and the clump where the dragons are all put in the same spot. There is only right way to do this and that’s the spread; do not clump them !
Why is the spread more effective ? Consider the amount of damage done per attack to an enemy base. Let’s say you have 10 max dragons which will do 3000 hp of damage combined on their first hit. Now what happens when they all attack, for example, a builder’s hut. We launch 3000 hp of damage on a structure with 250 hp. The result is 2750 hp of wasted damage. Now imagine we launch those 10 dragons against multiple structures; we end up with each attack doing damage to lots of different structures; the result is that far less attack hp is wasted. Simple ?
So remember when you use a dragon army don’t clump the deployment !
